It is recommended that learners have taken The French Corner Level 1-7 prior to enrolling in this course. This is a fun and interactive online course that encourages active student participation. Students will learn through reading prompts, listening exercises and online learning games. During our first session, students will be given a set of rules and expectations.

Throughout the course we will be making use of YouTube, Nearpod, and Canva. An account is not required for any of these websites. I will be making use of the share screen feature on Zoom to share my presentations, videos and games. When a game is played in class students will use a link provided in the Chat feature on Zoom and will only input their name/nickname.

A notebook and pencil are recommended for note taking but are not required.

I started learning French in 2008, passed the AP French Language Exam with a score of four and have used the language in my volunteer work in Long Island, New York. I spent several weeks in Montreal, Canada every summer from 2011 to 2014 to fully immerse myself in the French language with a host family. I have also spent time in Paris, France to put my language skills to use. I have been teaching French online since 2020. 評論
