Students will learn about the issues affecting our environment and how small steps in their everyday lives can make a big difference.
As a Social Studies teacher I have taught modern global issues, including environmental concerns, for the past 7 years. As an avid environmentalist I have spent a lot of my free time volunteering and educating myself on how to lessen my carbon footprint and have a more positive impact on my environment. Many of the tips I will discuss with students are things I do in my everyday life.
