This class is all about the adorable furry potatoes, also known as guinea pigs! Students will learn what items you need before getting a guinea pig, the best places to get them from, common habits, how to care for and feed them. Also in this class will be demonstrations with real guinea pigs on how to hold them safely, grooming, and ideas for fun ways to interact with the guinea pigs! I have been a proud guinea pig parent for the last seven years, and my content is endorsed by the Knoxville Guinea Pig Rescue group.
Students may want a piece of paper or notebook, and pencil to take notes for themselves if they anticipate owning their own guinea pig.
