Welcome to the ArKIDecture Academy! In this one time class, students will learn how to draw a basic one-point perspective of skyscrapers. We will use simple tools to learn the one-point drawing technique. I will guide them step by step through the drawing process. Once we have a base drawing, each student will be able to express their own creativity through the individual designs of their skyscrapers. I am a practicing architectural designer in the world of residential design. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Design and a Master's Degree in Architecture. I have been sharing my passion of architecture through architectural camps and classes for children since 1999.
Students shall provide the following: - 1-2 sheets of white or light colored paper - a ruler or straight edge for drawing straight lines - a circle template or 3 circular objects that they can trace (lids, cups, and bowls make great templates for tracing circles). They will need three sizes approximately 1-1/2", 2-1/2", 3-1/2"(sizes can vary) - crayons, markers, or colored pencils (Parents can choose what medium would be best for their child)
