Welcome to Teacher Mel's Math Club: Let's Practice Multiplication and Division

In this class, students will learn just how much fun math can be. Students will be able to learn new tips and tricks, and get lots of practice, while playing fun and interactive math games. Students will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week. During Tuesday's lesson we'll review a new math concept and practice a few sample problems. On Thursdays, we'll play a fun game where students will get to put their skills to the test in a competitive and supportive environment.

Students will be encouraged to be active participants in each class. The use of calculators will not be permitted in order to keep the competition fair. Students are welcome to join class at any time. If students are joining on any week other than week 1, students should already have some familiarity with the previously covered topics. • During the month of June 2024 students will be working on multiplication and division facts as well as exploring different ways to solve more complex problems! 

Subsequent topics and games will be student directed.
