Learn English! Improve your English in a fun way by talking and learning new vocabulary. This is for intermediate learners not for beginners. Each lesson there will have a theme and we will then go from there, talking about things that interest you! We will be learning how to: * Give our opinion in different ways. * Gaining vocabulary that will help use with discussion. * Learning to listen to others and feedback and contribute. * Affirming that your opinion is very important and valued. * To adapt to talking in different sized small groups. * To learn new words and to put them in sentences. Children will need to have a basic understanding of English and be able to understand at least a beginners level of English at conversation level. - Siblings are very welcome and must be enrolled in class. For Parents there will be a speaking and listening learning objective and I will feedback to parents after the class.

My name is Mrs. Kaye. I am an experienced and fully qualified primary / elementary school teacher. I teach mainly 1:1 math, English language) and reading. I also teach 7 plus, 11 plus, NAPLAN (Australia) and UK Year SATs prep as well as helping US students prepare for grade assessments up to grade 6. I am a fully qualified teacher and I now live in the United States.

I have worked with London borough initiatives to help learners accomplish their very best and set them up for future success in their academic careers.
I am very keen for students to reach their goals and develop confidence in math, all aspects of English, science, and various topics. I am passionate about teaching and very good at what I do. I believe in making all areas of the curriculum accessible for children. I endeavor to make learning fun and accessible. I also have a lot of experience with different levels of learners at multiple stages of language acquisition, from fluent native English speakers to those learning English as an additional language.
Another area of expertise is to support children in the dreaded test taking process. Quizzes and assessments can be daunting for young learners, I can help with making tests more familiar and help your learner gain experience and explore techniques to be a better test taker.
At the end of each lesson, there is the option to send you feedback about your child’s participation to help you see areas of achievement and next steps. Feel free to message me if you have any questions.
