This class will use educational TEDEd videos and learner-friendly articles to focus on the practical application of note-taking. Learners will take notes alongside their teacher and peers using one style of six (list, outline, concept maps, keyword outlines, sketch notes, and Cornell Notes) per class. Following the note taking session, everyone will compare their notes to learn from each other and ensure that the important information was captured. Learners should bring a notebook and...

learn and apply 6 note-taking styles in real-time.
identify a note-taking style that works best for them.
gain confidence in their ability to take notes from a video or live lecture and scan readings for important key details.This class was created and used with permission by Misses Dee: AA in Child Development BA in Language Development TESOL Certification Teaching Certification 20+ years in education and curriculum planning
A notebook and something to write with should be ready for each session.
