In this interactive English class, students will improve their speaking, writing, and reading skills while learning to communicate effectively in everyday situations. We’ll cover a variety of topics, from discussing feelings, experiences, and ambitions to exploring trending issues in today’s world. Students will also read and analyze both fiction and non-fiction texts to strengthen their comprehension and vocabulary. What Will Be Taught: Speaking: Students will practice conversational English through discussions on topics like their dreams, feelings, experiences, and current events. We’ll focus on building fluency and confidence in everyday communication. Writing: We’ll work on improving grammar, structure, and vocabulary. Students will learn how to apply grammar rules smoothly in both writing and speaking. Reading & Comprehension: We’ll explore fiction and non-fiction texts, analyzing content, discussing themes, and expanding vocabulary. Grammar Proficiency: Depending on each student’s level, we’ll focus on grammar rules to help them express themselves more clearly and fluently. How is the Class Structured: Each session will be tailored to meet the student’s individual needs and learning goals. The class will begin with a warm-up discussion or activity, followed by focused lessons on speaking, writing, or reading. We’ll engage in various activities throughout the class, such as role-plays, online games, debates, grammar exercises, and reading comprehension tasks. Teaching Method: My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I believe in making learning fun, engaging, and practical. I use various methods to keep students involved, including conversation practice, games, multimedia resources (videos, music, slides), and relevant reading materials. I encourage students to ask questions, share their thoughts, and apply what they learn in real-life situations. Discussions: Students will talk about their experiences, opinions, and current events. Games: Fun language games to reinforce vocabulary and grammar. Slides and Visuals: PowerPoint slides and videos to explain concepts and provide examples. Reading & Analysis: Students will read articles, stories, or excerpts, then discuss their meaning, themes, and vocabulary. Real-life Practice: We’ll simulate real-world scenarios, such as job interviews or daily conversations, to build confidence and fluency. Materials: We’ll use a variety of multimedia resources, including YouTube videos, music, literature, and magazine articles to make lessons engaging and culturally relevant.

Any third-party tools I will be using, such as Starfall, British CounciI ot Twinkl, I will only use it as an extra resource for our class. I will share the screen and sometimes give control to the student. Students do not need to create accounts on any of the websites that require parental consent.

I am a passionate and dedicated English teacher with 14 years of teaching experience in a variety of settings and subjects. I speak four languages—Arabic, English, French, and Spanish— This helps me communicate better with my students and understand the challenges they may encounter while learning a new language or simply working on improving their language skills.
In 2014–2015, I was privileged to be a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Connecticut, where I studied Language and Culture Learning (LCL) methodology, as well as Theatre and Human Rights, African American Literature, and Spanish language. This experience significantly shaped my teaching approach, integrating cultural awareness, creative expression, and social justice into my lessons. I continue to apply these innovative methods in my teaching, focusing on both language skills and students' broader cultural understanding.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with learners of all ages—from young children (as young as 3 years of age) to teenagers and adults—and have taught ESL (English as a Second Language), native English speakers, and a variety of interdisciplinary subjects. For five years, I worked as an IPC (International Primary Curriculum) teacher and a milepost leader, designing lessons that integrated academic content with social-emotional development. I also served as a homeroom teacher, fostering a supportive environment for students' overall growth.
In addition to teaching English language skills, I have experience teaching dance, drama, reading, and PSHE (Personal, Social, and Health Education). My background in Theatre and Human Rights enhances my ability to create interactive, creative, and inclusive lessons that engage students on a deep, personal level. Furthermore, my study of African American Literature and Spanish language enriches my lessons with a diverse range of cultural perspectives and literature, making language learning both relevant and empowering.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in creating a personalized and student-centered environment, where students not only improve their English skills but also build their confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.評論
