In this fun and interactive series, participants will explore the hidden science behind their favorite candies through three hands-on experiments. We’ll uncover the mysteries of candy colors, investigate the role of taste, and learn about the technique of chromatography—all through the lens of sweet treats!
學習目標
Participants will place M&M's or Skittles in warm water and observe how the candy shells dissolve, causing the letters to float.
Participants will taste flavored Life Savers while holding their noses and attempt to identify the flavors without the aid of smell.

Discover how the letters on candies like M&M's and Skittles float and learn the basic principles of density and solubility.
Understand the relationship between taste and smell, and how our senses work together to perceive flavors.
Learn how scientists separate mixtures into their individual components using the technique of paper chromatography.
