In this science camp that meets three times over one week, young learners will be introduced to the Periodic Table of the Elements. We will be sure to cover all 118 elements (though some will be a very brief mention!) as we learn about the properties of the Periodic Table columns and why the Table is arranged the way it is. Learners will enjoy discovering how elements impact their everyday lives as we discuss elements in the human body, the environment, food and the items we use each day. ...

Students will receive a general overview and introduction to the Periodic Table of the Elements, and will learn about how elements contribute to our lives. Learners will have fun while gaining a solid introduction to crucial scientific concepts.
