Young musicians of all ages and beginning-intermediate abilities will have the rare opportunity to learn to play both the piano and the violin at the same time.  As a violinist learns to read music and play their violin, it helps to learn it along with the piano.  Musical notes on the piano are set up in a logical form that makes learning note reading easy.  A student who can play both piano and violin has a major musical advantage over those who only play one or the other.  This ongoing, private violin/piano class will introduce students to basic piano and violin techniques.  Each lesson is custom designed to the young musician's ability, interest, and pace.  Utilizing songs, games as well as learning proper playing position and musicality, students will spend approximately 20 minutes on violin music and 20 minutes on piano music.                         Please come to class with your violin tuned and ready to go.  I will teach parents how to do this.
                        Music books should be purchased within 2 weeks after class has started.
