This course is designed to help high school students who are going to take Calculus in the Fall or Spring or students who completed Precalculus but may have struggled. In this summer session, we will review essential algebraic concepts from Algebra and Geometry that will set students up for success in Calculus. I recommend students start a new, spiral bound notebook for this course that they can take with them into their future math classes. A calculator is recommended, but not required. Students who have a TI-84 will receive instruction specific to utilizing the tool. Students who do not have a TI-84 may use a free emulator (app) or Desmos online graphing calculator (free, no login required)

Material will be presented through Outschool Zoom using a screenshare of Google Slides, the Zoom whiteboard, and Desmos classroom activities. Accounts will not be required for any external tools. Students who do not own a calculator can use the Desmos graphing calculator for free online without an account and I may screenshare the Desmos online graphing calculator to demonstrate graphing.
