This beginner level course is perfect for new programmers, as well as for students that have some experience with HTML and CSS but would like to begin developing interactive elements and animations. Students will learn to use variables, conditional statements, loops, functions, and arrays. Our project-based lessons allow students to practice essential programming skills while working on fun and unique creations. All students will be asked to apply what they’ve learned to create a final project of their own design which will be presented on the last day of class. There will be some reinforcement quizzes for students to complete after lessons, along with review games that will be played in the final class meetings to ensure students remember material and are prepared to take the next steps in their programming adventures. Project 2 – House design

Project 3 – Snow Storm

Students will learn how to use conditional statements to make different choices in their programs.
Project 4 – Bowling Game

Dear Parents
Welcome to the Project-based JavaScript Coding program. In this online live course, students will learn the most popular programming language for web design, mobile application, and various applications. All lessons are project based and each lesson contains one fun project. All students will be asked to finish a final project with their own ideas which will be presented on the last day. There will be some quizzes for students to finish at home.
To get started, please set up a https://replit.com/ account, which we will be using both in and out of class for this course.
Important notes:
As per Outschool Policy: For the safety of all students, all cameras must be on during the entire class duration, or at least for the first few minutes of the class session in certain circumstances. Please mute your audio (keep video enabled) during the class session.
