Bonjour! My name is Laura. I teach the class in French and I do translate as needed to help the learners to understand and memorize what they are learning.  The class is for children from 6 to 9 years old. All are welcome. No prior knowledge is needed. We will read color, and play. The class is structured and part of a yearlong curriculum with new French things to learn all year long. I am a fun teacher, I have a lot of patience, and I like to encourage the students to speak. Summary: 
Day 1: Introduction to the French Language. We will learn the alphabet. How to pronounce the letters. We will learn how to greet and introduce ourselves.

Day 2: Introduction to the letter I and U. How to read them in French words. Words with the sounds I and U. Review what we have learned already. "Il y a" Introduction to small sentences. Review what we have learned already. 

Day 3: Introduction to the letters O and A. How to read them in French words. Review what we have learned already. Sounds I-U, O-A. Review what we have learned already. 

Day 4 Introduction to the letter E and sounds for E, É, Ê, È. Review what we have learned already. I read in French! Small syllables and words. Review what we have learned today
