Hi!
I am passionate about serving students by teaching them morphology, fluency, and enhancing their vocabulary.
I have 15 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's of Science in Early Childhood Education, 4th and 5th endorsement and Reading endorsement. I am a certified licensed educator. My professional experience background includes teaching ELA for the 3rd and 4th grades. I also was a Title 1 Reading Specialist for 5 years.
My goal is to create brilliant readers. Each student will leave my class feeling confident and accomplished. I encourage consistency through repetition and Orton-Gillingham practices. I apply the science of reading strategies and concepts to my lessons.
I love starting our sessions with a joke of the day! Each child should begin and leave with a smile.評論
