This self-paced class focuses on teaching effective anxiety relief techniques through brief, engaging videos. Here are the details:

What will be taught?
Students will learn three practical strategies for managing anxiety: deep breathing exercises, physical activity routines, and mindfulness practices. Each technique is designed to help reduce stress and promote relaxation.

What topics will you cover?
1. Deep Breathing Exercises: Techniques to calm the mind and body.
2. Physical Activity for Anxiety Relief: Simple exercises to lift mood and reduce tension.
3. Mindfulness and Meditation Practices: Methods to stay present and reduce worry.

How is your class structured?
The class is organized into three main modules, each focused on one of the core techniques. Each module includes:
- Brief instructional videos with clear, step-by-step guidance.
- Practice activities to reinforce learning.

 Learners will explore various deep breathing exercises, such as with a guided breathing exercise using 4-4-4 breathing. These techniques will help learners slow down their breathing, calm their mind, and reduce anxiety.

 Learners will learn a variety of stretching exercises to relax their muscles and improve flexibility. Additionally, light aerobic exercises will be introduced to boost endorphins and enhance overall well-being.

Please communicate with the instructor if accommodations or modifications are needed. Academy teachers are trained and educated on how to meet unique learning needs and classes can be adjusted as needed.

There are optional activities that require material, such as a jar and paper for the gratitude jar.  For the stretching exercises a mat or soft space works.

With a strong interest in mental health and stress management, I have developed courses that teach practical strategies for managing anxiety through mindfulness, movement, and breathing techniques.
