In this class, students will listen to (and actively participate in) the reading of Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses. This is a highly interactive class, where learners will be engaged throughout the story with thought-provoking questions. Learners will practice reading with expression and comprehension skills throughout the class. Overview of the Class: Introductions Read Aloud and Interactive Discussion Story Discussion: Retelling and Lessons we Learned Fun Step-by-Step Drawing Tutorial (Wise Old Owl) Your mind is a muscle, and my goal is to help your learner's mind grow - while having fun!

Learners will have a chance to sharpen their reading and listening skills, and improve their literary skills. They will have a chance to share their ideas, and listen to the ideas of others (a great skill to develop as they continue to grow!).

My name is Teacher Monica.

Through engaging, fun lessons, I will do my best to ensure that learners are equipped with the fundamental skills needed to succeed in life.
I have previously taught pre-kindergarten, second grade, and on various online platforms. I have an Associate's Degree in Communication, a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies (with a minor in Organizational Leadership), and have completed the Teaching English as a Foreign Language program (from the International TEFL Academy).
