In this fun class we will combine our favorites - art, our pets, and Squishmallows! In this one-time class students will create a Squishmallow using their pet (or dream pet) as a model! If your child doesn't have a pet, no worries! Students can draw their actual pet or their dream pet as well. This is a fun, beginner drawing class where students can express their creativity and share their love of art, animals, and Squishmallows! I will model drawing each creature using simple shapes while students draw along. We will brainstorm together how to draw their unique pet into a Squishmallow. We will use pencil first, then use crayon, colored pencil, or markers to color in our drawing. Students may customize the colors and use their creativity to personalize the details of their Squishmallows! We will have the option to share our drawings and add a background or more doodles to our picture as time allows! Class Outline: 1. Introductions - Pets 2. Model/Step-by-step drawing 2. Add outline/color 3. Share drawings 4. Optional share
