This introductory course provides a comprehensive but fast tracked foundation in the Unity game engine, equipping you with the essential skills to begin your journey in game development. Course Objectives: Gain a thorough understanding of the Unity interface, including the Hierarchy, Editor, Inspector, Project, and Console panes. Learn about fundamental game development concepts such as Game Objects, Components, and Assets. Explore different types of graphics used in Unity, including Sprites and Materials. Understand the role of physics in Unity game development. Learn essential workflow practices, including local saving, version control, and utilizing the Unity Cloud. Who should take this course: This course is ideal for aspiring game developers with little to no prior experience with game development or the Unity engine. A great place to start if you are in a hurry to get building! By the end of this course, you will be able to: Navigate the Unity interface confidently. Create basic game objects and manipulate their properties. Import and use assets within a Unity project. Apply basic physics principles to game objects. Understand and implement basic game development workflows. This course is designed to provide quickly attained yet solid foundation in Unity game development, empowering you to embark on your game development journey with confidence. I will be available during the course to solve problems, answer questions or provide greater clarity.
