Welcome Padawans to this epic Lightsaber course where we will learn different poses, spins, and tricks to help you in your Jedi training! Each class we will build upon what was learned the previous class in skill and intensity, until you are ready to become a true Jedi Knight! At the end of the course, the Padawan will be able to show off their favorite moves in a routine that they create. This class is great for Padawans who have already had some form of lightsaber training and want to perfect their skill, or can learn quickly. 
**This course is suited more for an intermediate-advanced level. **

Class 1: Lightsaber training for beginners
-Learn about the lightsaber
-Poses
-Basic spins

Class 2: Spins
-Review and Sequence moves
-Introduce Intermediate tricks
-Intermediate spin moves

Class 3: Intermediate tricks
-Introduce 2 more intermediate tricks, including the Obi-Ani
-Sequence moves
-Bonus move for week 4

Class 4: Advanced Tricks
-Review
-Add an extra "spin" to a previous move
-Introduce 2 advanced moves, including Rey's lightsaber flip and a behind the back trick

Class 5: Showcase
-Review
-Obi Ani half spin
-Share sequence/routine


This course will start out with the basics by learning the parts of a lightsaber, how to hold it, and basic spins and poses. The next few classes will get harder and more intense. Weeks 2-3 will be more of an intermediate level, where we will add more spins and tricks, as well as perfecting our holds and stances. Class 4 will be an advanced level class. We will learn Rey's lightsaber twirl and a twirl behind the back move as our hardest moves for the course. Class 5 will be our showcase. We will review all of the previous moves/poses and the Padawans will each share their own routine with the class, mixing and matching poses, spins, twirls, and tricks from the previous classes. 

Note:
It is important that for this class you have plenty of space to move around, a lightsaber of sorts, and some water.
