Welcome to "Fashion Squishmallows: Design & Draw!" In this exciting and interactive class, you'll get to design fabulous outfits for your favorite Squishmallows! Each week, we’ll explore different fashion styles and themes—from casual to glam—and learn how to sketch and color fashionable outfits. I’ll guide you step-by-step, helping you bring your stylish ideas to life. Students will follow along on my digital paper, and you'll recreate the designs on your own physical paper. Each week will feature a new fashion theme, so get ready to unleash your creativity and turn your Squishmallows into fashion icons! Weekly Fashion Squishmallow Themes: Week 1: Trendy Casual Wear Design casual, everyday outfits with a stylish twist—think cozy sweaters, jeans, and sneakers! Week 2: Formal & Fancy Get ready for the red carpet! Create elegant gowns, tuxedos, and sophisticated accessories. Week 3: Beach Day Fashion Design fun summer outfits like swimsuits, sun hats, and flip-flops perfect for a day at the beach. Week 4: Fantasy Fashion Let your imagination run wild with magical outfits for Squishmallow fairies, wizards, and mythical creatures. Week 5: Sporty & Activewear Create outfits for Squishmallows ready to hit the gym or play sports, complete with athletic gear. Week 6: Winter Wonderland Bundle up in style! Design cute winter outfits with cozy coats, scarves, and boots. Week 7: Royalty and Crowns Dress your Squishmallows like kings, queens, princes, and princesses with glamorous crowns and regal attire. Week 8: Retro Vibes Create vintage-inspired outfits from the '70s, '80s, or '90s, featuring bold patterns and funky accessories. Week 9: Holiday Special Design festive outfits for different holidays like Halloween costumes, Christmas sweaters, or Easter pastels. Week 10: Space Fashion Imagine your Squishmallows as astronauts or aliens, complete with futuristic outfits and accessories. Week 11: Animal Inspired Design Squishmallow outfits inspired by different animals—think leopard prints, bunny ears, and panda accessories. Week 12: Superhero Style Create super cool superhero costumes with capes, masks, and powerful accessories for your Squishmallows. Materials Needed: Paper Pencil Eraser Black marker Coloring tools: colored pencils, markers, or crayons (preferably markers) Classes will start on time, and students arriving late or needing to finish their drawings afterward will need to catch up on their own. If time allows, I’ll review what was missed at the end of class. Refunds and No-Shows: Please note that missed or no-show classes are not eligible for makeups or refunds. Hello! My name is Xiomara Ezell, and I am thrilled to meet you in the classroom! With a passion for music and art, I have dedicated over five years to teaching guitar, ukulele, and art classes that are all about having fun and getting creative. I’ve been playing music for over 10 years and drawing for as long as I can remember, and I’ve been exploring the exciting world of digital art for the past three years.
I have extensive experience working with students aged 6 to 18 in various settings, including one-on-one lessons, small groups of 5-10, and larger classroom sizes of 20-30. I began my teaching journey as an intern guitar teacher, and since then, I’ve taught on various platforms, helping students discover their love for music and art.
In my classes, I focus on making learning enjoyable and accessible. From beginner guitar and ukulele classes to exciting art sessions, I blend structured lessons with playful activities to keep students motivated and inspired. We’ll explore everything from easy one-finger chords and popular TikTok songs to creative art techniques and digital art projects.
My teaching philosophy is centered around creating a supportive and encouraging environment where every student feels valued and excited to learn. I believe in fostering creativity and confidence in each learner, helping them discover their potential and express themselves freely.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy exploring new music, painting, and spending time with my family. I am passionate about making each lesson a unique and fun experience, bringing creativity into everything we do.
