I have taught Second Grade for eight years. In the past 30 years I have visited Norway, Sweden, Latvia, Poland, Germany, Denmark, England, and Canada. My family and I love to travel, especially long car rides. I've been to 42 states and seek out art and history museums and National Parks on each trip. In addition, my many years of teaching on a couple different ESL platforms, I have had the opportunity to get to know traditions and favorite foods of many students from Brazil, Turkey, Japan and China. In the 1990's I helped a Muslim family fleeing the war in Kosovo learn English. The final unit of the class will be dealt with in great respect.
