Join us for a Spring Break adventure where you'll help Robot find their robot family after they get separated during a vacation! In this 5-day course, you’ll use Scratch to create a fun, platformer game with a robot characters, spring-themed obstacles, a countdown timer, and a point system. Your mission is to help the robot navigate through the level, avoid obstacles, and reach their family before time runs out. By the end of the week, you'll have a polished, professional-quality game to share with friends and family! Course Breakdown: Day 1: Meet your Robot & Set Up Basic Movement Day 2: Create Platforms & Implement Gravity Day 3: Add Obstacles & Program Interactions Day 4: Add Timer, Points, and Family Reunion Goal Day 5: Finalizing, Playtesting, and Sharing Your Game Why This Works: Engaging Story: The robot family reunion goal provides a personal touch, motivating students to finish the game and making it more exciting. Pre-Created Art: Students focus on coding and game mechanics using polished, professional artwork that elevates the quality of the game. Hands-On Learning: Each day, students will learn new coding skills while developing one complete, playable level.

This class supports diverse needs with clear, step-by-step instructions, visual aids, and flexible pacing. Pre-made assets and encouragement ensure a positive, stress-free experience!
父母的引導和規範
This class does not include any upsetting or scary content. Learners will need a free Scratch account to save and share their projects. Parents can set up an account by visiting scratch.mit.edu and clicking "Join." Follow the prompts to create a username, set a password, and verify your email address. Instructions will also be provided before class. 😊

No prior experience is needed! Basic computer skills, like using a mouse and keyboard, are helpful, but everything else will be taught in class. 😊💻
