In this ongoing class, we meet every week. This class is for children 7-11. Learners will need to bring a notebook and a pencil/or a white board to class with them. They will write down their spelling bee words for the week. We will practice the words with some fun games. Subscription based classes are a weekly ongoing class you are charged every Sunday for the upcoming week, it’s easy to subscribe and unsubscribe at any time. Examples are: -Write your words using noodles or candy. -Write your spelling words in all capital letters. -Write spelling words three times each. -Draw a picture and hide the spelling word in the picture. -Write spelling words in different rainbow colors with a crayon. -Write your spelling word in a sentence and more..., let's see what the wheel lands on. Day one we will write out our spelling words and play spin the wheel spelling (see above for games). Day two we will write a couple spelling words into sentences, go over any words they are having trouble with, Spin the wheel spelling, and have a quick spelling quiz. We will have a different spelling theme each week. Week of: 8/1: Gardening 8/8: Colors 8/15: Trees and Nature Starting curriculum over at week one for Back to School Season 8/22: --NO CLASS THIS WEEK-- 8/29: Silent Consonants 9/5: Y as a Vowel 9/12: Plural Nouns 9/19: Animals 9/26: Movies 10/3: Dogs 10/10: Contractions: To Be 10/17: Mixed Bag Of Words 10/24: Numbers 10/31: Shopping and Money 11/7: --NO CLASS-- 11/14: Music 11/21: --NO CLASS-- Thanksgiving break 11/28: Winter 12/5: Human Body 12/12: Medical 12/19: today and tomorrow 12/26 --NO CLASS-- Winter break 1/02: Contractions: Not 1/09: Contractions 1/16: Clocks 1/23: Clothes 1/30: Vacation 2/6: House 2/13: family and chores 2/20: manners and greetings 2/27: baseball 3/6: outer space 3/13: shapes 3/20: Math 3/27: trees and nature 4/3: Colors 4/10: gardening 4/17: fruit 4/24: fruit adjectives 5/1: Homophones 5/8: summer words 5/15: time of day 5/22: emotions 5/29: back to school 6/3: fairy tales 6/10: As more weeks are added I will add the topics. I'm Miss Tiffany,
I am a homeschool mom and childcare professional. I have owned and operated a childcare business for over 12 years and have been homeschooling my daughter for 8 years. I would like to share my experiences and knowledge with everyone. My goal is to provide a wide variety of topics to choose from. These will include creative thinking classes like Arts & Crafts, Storytime, Spelling, Writing, Roblox, and Life Skills.
