課堂經歷
Speech and Debate Class for Third Grade- Third Grade will practice Speech and Debate Skills every week in class. Third Graders will practice speaking and expressing themselves, practice the basics of debate and the basics of storytelling . Week -1 The students will learn about the history of speech and the fundamentals of each. Week 2 - The students will learn the format of Speech and Debate and Storytelling. Week 3- The students will break up into groups and practice Storytelling and Debate for one week. Week 5- The students will be picked for each of these groups by the teacher. The students will then have a presentation to present in front of the students and teacher. This interaction and engagement of students helps the students have fun and want to gain talking skills and speech skills in front of people. The students will also be able to express themselves and say how they feel and what they think about their topic and discuss it in front of the students The students will also play Kahoot and a Speech Trivia Game. My name is Louis A. Uranga and I have been teaching children for sixteen years. I have taught preschool , elementary and special education. I am currently teaching ESL Students in China. I believe children have a mind like a sponge so whatever they learn they can use it for future knowledge and experience. I feel that engagement and interaction of children is vital to their mental and physical development .
