This session is designed to help students prepare for speech tournaments/meets.  Whether you are getting ready for your first tournament or prepping for Nationals, I can help you improve your performance and connect with your audience (especially the judge!).  In addition, I can answer questions about tournaments and provide tips on tournament etiquette to help any competitor feel more comfortable!

I am an NSDA Diamond Coach and have had numerous students from 6th grade to high school seniors compete in out rounds (quarter-finals, semi-finals, finals) at Nationals.  I can coach any event from Duo to Oratory to Extemp.  My expertise includes, but is not limited to the following:

INTERP      HI, DI, Prose, Poetry, POI, Duo   
Building emotion, accents, character development, blocking, book tech, vocal and facial expression, writing compelling intros, volume, eye contact, gestures, audience connection

PLATFORM    Info, Oratory, Expos

LIMITED PREP     Extemp, Impromptu

In addition, if learners have not found or been given a script or topic, or would like a new script or topic, I have a huge library.  Please note that there will be an additional charge for a script.

I am an upbeat, energetic coach who utilizes many strategies to put your student on a path to success.  My goal is to make your student the most confident competitor in the room! 

Although I have certain times listed for these sessions, my schedule has flexibility and can be adjusted.
