In this ongoing course, students will be equipped with the vocabulary and practice needed to converse with others in Spanish at a basic level. *It will be in both English and Spanish.*

There will be 3 meetings each week. Each meeting will contain one or all of the following:
-Learn the vocabulary needed for the week
-Practice using the vocabulary in sentences by asking and answering questions with teacher support
-A game or activity to practice and share with the class the things we've learned throughout the week.

Meeting 3x a week will allow students the repetition and practice needed to remember the Spanish vocabulary and use it in everyday conversations with other Spanish speakers. This ongoing course for beginners will focus on a new topic every week. Each topic will be simple enough that students will not need to have completed the class the week before in order to participate in the conversation. Each Monday/Tuesday, they will be given a handout with the vocabulary for the entire week so that they can practice speaking at home and prepare for the "game day" at the end of the week.

**Please note that if you join in the middle of the week, we will have already had a class or two on the weekly topic. We will, however, review the vocabulary during each class so students can feel successful even if they join later in the week.
