Maestra Zia was born on the island of Puerto Rico and lived there over 20 years. She graduated with a teaching degree from the University of Puerto Rico and taught with the Department of Education for grades K-12. She also owned and operated a bilingual daycare center in Puerto Rico. She has experience in simultaneous interpretation and has been teaching Spanish online for over two years.
