Our class will start with student introductions and an informal Q&A about the planet Neptune.  I will then introduce facts about the planet Neptune including size, # of moons, distance from sun, etc. using slides, pictures, and videos.    There will also be a worksheet about Neptune that we will fill in together during class. Students will receive a personalized Neptune-themed coloring sheet to complete after class.  The handouts are NOT required in order to take the class, but help some learners to follow along.  

This class is very interactive! Students will have several opportunities to ask questions, comment on what we learn, and tell us what they know.  I do not mute students unless their is background noise that is distracting to the class.   

Students will be required to at least begin class with their cameras on so that I can check attendance and see their faces.  If students are more comfortable with having their camera off after introductions, that is fine! This class will be interactive and students will have the opportunity to ask questions and comment on what we learn throughout the class. Students do not need any prior knowledge about space or the planet Neptune to attend this class.
