I have had over 10 years’ experience teaching elementary age students’ Social Studies curriculum. I have created lessons, followed state and common core standards, and implemented them within a full classroom setting.

For research and having multiple perspectives for all diverse cultures, I have used the websites www.pbs.org to inform the students about the native American history that surrounds Mount Rushmore. I also will use the website www.nps.gov to help educate the young students the history that is involved in the creating of Mount Rushmore.
