Welcome to Slime Time! This class is all about slime. Every week learners will get to experiment with making different types of slime. From Basic Slime, to Cloud Dough, Clear Slime to Water Slime and more , there is no shortage of fun when it comes to slime! We will start every class saying hello and allowing learners to share whatever might be on their mind. This is a social interactive class where learners will be able to chat with one another as we make our slime, as well as make suggestions for future meetings. The class will be interest led, taught in a relaxed, fun and easy going atmosphere. Sure not to disappoint all the slime fans out there! Week of March 3rd: Create Thick and Glossy Slime! Week of March 10th: Create Clear Slime! Week of March 17th: Create Butter Slime ! Week of March 24th: Create Floam Slime!

Learners will be provided a weekly list of what materials they will need for each class. Most materials will be household craft items, such as clear or white school glue, hand lotion, food coloring, glitter, paint, and a slime activator such as saline solution.

Hello! I'm Lisha and this is Laughing Cricket Music! Laughing Cricket offers music and movement classes for Outschools' youngest learners. It is an inclusive, interactive, warm and happy space, where learning happens in a fun and organic way. Together, with my puppet friends, we sing both original and popular children's tunes, helping to build a solid sense for music appreciation. The song and dance of Music is a vital and important step in every child's development. In our classroom, we will use music as a tool to help develop and Improve our fine and large motor skills, manage our everyday emotions, build self confidence and self esteem, encourage teamwork, and develop a good sense of rhythm and pitch. Most importantly, we will laugh, smile and dance!
I am a trained jazz vocalist, and have spent the last 15 years as a professional Children's Musician in a wide range of capacities. I am passionate about sharing my music and heart with your little ones and bring the knowledge I have gained as a musician, mother and educator with me to every class. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you may have. I look forward to singing together with you, and in the meantime-- dance to the sound of the song in your heart!評論
