技能培養/ 1:1 閱讀和數學輔導，適合 K-3/ 1 小時

In this class we will work on building our reading and math skills.
Class includes standards based, grade level appropriate practice of literacy and math skills.
Kindergarten: Learners practice phonics and phonemic awareness, read and write CVC words and numbers, practice sight words, play reading and math games, count, add and subtract objects up to 10  through story problems, and work on number sense.
First grade: Learners practice phonics by reading and writing CVC, CVCE, and complex words and sentences. They practice sight words and read stories to practice reading fluency and comprehension. Math focuses on connecting the concrete learning (counting with objects) with the abstract symbols of number sentences. We practice skip counting and adding and subtracting numbers up to 20.  
Second Grade: We practice reading fluency and comprehension strategies, identifying text features and text evidence. We create and write our own sentences and stories.  We practice adding and subtracting in double digits and connect  the standard math algorithms to concrete terms to foster understanding. 
Third Grade: Reading: We practice better understanding  of literature and writing by  comparing and contrasting, identifying cause and effect, Identifying themes, paragraph writing, such as opinion, narrative, persuasive.  Math: We strengthen needed skills as identified by the learner, parent, and teacher.
