Sink or Float? FOOD Edition with Chef Mary is a great class for all curious young people! We will test 8 food related objects to see if they sink or float. We will cover a few scientific terms such as prediction, experiment, observation, and results. During this class we will start with a short introduction of all learners, cover what we will be doing that day, and then start the experiment. Kids can feel free to follow along with their own materials and water, but it is not required! I love...

If your learner would like to experiment at home too they will need: 1 large container/bowl filled halfway with water We will be experimenting with 8 food related items to see if they sink or float 1. Apple 2. Fork 3. Carrot 4. Potato 5. Dry Noodles 6. Strawberry 7. Popcorn Kernels 8. Marshmallow Optional: Bring a few extra food items if desired to share if they sink or float!
