課堂經歷
Join teacher Jamie as we sing songs about Santa Claus. We will sing "Must Be Santa." This song incorporates music and movement. Using movement will help the children remember the lyrics as they connect the words to the movement. This will get your child excited for this special time of year! After we sing, our special guest, Santa Claus will make an appearance. Santa will share a picture book and songs with the children. We will sing "Jingle Bells" and "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer." Each child will get a moment to visit with Santa Claus. We will end with "We Wish You a Merry Christmas." The teacher will stay on camera throughout the entire class. Children will never be alone with our special guest. While each child talks to Santa, the other children in the class will need to stay muted. Each child will get a chance to visit with Santa individually. This is a sample outline of the class: Sing about Santa with Teacher Jamie Santa arrives Group song and chat with Santa and Teacher Jamie Students talk with Santa individually Group goodbye song with Santa and Teacher Jamie The adults in each child's life will have the opportunity to message Teacher Jamie in advance to let Santa know anything special about your child.

I have been teaching for over 15 years. I graduated from Southern Utah University with my degree in Music Education in 2003. Starting in 2004, I taught private voice and piano lessons to students. In 2014, I began teaching music at a local elementary school.
In my classroom, I have taught singing, rhythm games, recorder, ukulele, music theory and how to write your own song! I love sharing my love of music with my students.
I also enjoy musical theater. I have done several communtiy theater productions. I have been privileged to play the roles of Mrs. Potts in "Beauty and the Beast," Jack's Mother in "Into the Woods," Mabel in "The Pirates of Penzance," and Kim in "Bye, Bye BIrdie."
I love to listen to rock and roll on the radio. My favorite music group is The Beatles!
In 2017, I began tutoring ESL students in the basics of English grammar, reading, and conversation. I love working with young people from all around the world.評論
