This class will expose your child to a very popular language in America- American Sign Language! It is estimated that American Sign Language is used by approximately 500,000 people in the United States alone. It is fun and easy to learn, which makes it a popular choice for a foreign language. In this course students will learn how to sign their name, along with 10 popular signs. Students will learn the basics of facial expressions and how we use our face to distinguish between a question and a statement. We will take a brief look at its' origins, and discuss why it is so important to our community.
