課堂經歷
In this class students will have an opportunity to showcase their favorite toys and books. Students will also have an opportunity to introduce their pets if they have any. The objective of this class is give students a space to practice their communication skills. The first portion of the class will be about building rapport. Then we will jump right in and depending on the class size, students will get to show one or more of their favorite items. In every class, I try to cater to every student's personality. Students will get an example beforehand on how to present their items to the class. Students do not need any prior knowledge to take this course. My only recommendation is that parents help students to find their favorite item before class, so they have time to share. Here is the weekly breakdown: Week of 07/11: Favorite Toy Students bring along their favorite toy to show the class. Week of 07/18: Favorite Book Students show the class their favorite book they like to read and tell us why. Week of 07/25: Animals or Pets Students bring in their pet or a picture of their favorite animal. Week of 08/01: Snack Time Students bring in their favorite snack. No prior experience is required for this class.

My name is Desiree. I am hosting Read With Me classes. In those classes, I will read a book in class and discuss themes and new topics with students. I thinking storytelling can be used to make learning fun.
I attained my Bachelor's degree in Finance at the age of 18. I went on to work in the corporate world for a few years. I then decided to take some time to travel. Before I left, I became an online English teacher. I have officially been an online teacher for a 1 year and a half.
My experience extends beyond my online background as well. During college, I signed up to be a volunteer at my church nursery. I did that for about 5 years. I have experience working with kids all ages.
