💫This is a one-time class that can be taken multiple times. Come once, or come often!

In this engaging and interactive class, learners will have the opportunity to showcase their favorite toys while developing important communication and social skills. Each child will take turns presenting their toy, describing its features, why they love it, and any special stories or memories associated with it. Through guided discussions, fun prompts, and encouraging feedback, learners will practice active listening, turn-taking, and clear self-expression in a friendly and supportive environment.

Learning Goals:
✔️ Develop clear and confident speaking skills by describing their favorite toy.
✔️ Practice active listening by paying attention to their peers’ presentations and asking thoughtful questions.
✔️ Strengthen social interaction skills such as turn-taking, giving compliments, and responding respectfully.

📂Sample Questions that we will discuss during our show and tell class;

Descriptive Questions:
What does your toy look like? Can you describe its color, size, and shape?
What is your toy made of? Is it soft, hard, or squishy?
Does your toy have any special features, like buttons, sounds, or moving parts?

Personal Connection Questions:
Why is this your favorite toy?
Who gave you this toy, or where did you get it?
How long have you had this toy?
Does your toy remind you of a special memory or story?

Creative Questions:
If your toy could come to life, what would it say or do?
Can you give your toy a name if it doesn’t already have one?
If you could design a new version of your toy, what would you add or change?

Imaginative Play Questions:
How do you like to play with your toy?
If your toy could go on an adventure, where would it go?
Can you show us what sound your toy might make or how it moves?

Comparison and Critical Thinking Questions:
How is this toy different from other toys you have?
Is there another toy that reminds you of this one? How are they alike?
What would happen if your toy was much bigger or smaller?

Problem-Solving and Storytelling Questions:
If your toy got lost, how would you find it?
Can you tell a story about your toy? What kind of adventures has it had?
If your toy needed a friend, what kind of toy would you pick for it?
