Students will learn how to use their thinking skills and life situations to gain a clear understanding of how to use money, purchase items with a set budget, make healthy food choices, enhance unit measurement skills and expand their vocabulary. 

I hold a bachelors degree in Accounting and as the owner of an integrated arts academy and a holistic health practitioner, I have the expertise to create a curriculum that is creative while incorporating the core subject of math as designed for SMAcademy of Integrated Arts. I am highly knowledgeable of healthy choice options and the price difference from organics and conventional products. I have taught summer camp classes each year for 10 years with great success with incorporating core subjects with life skills.

As one who holds a doctorate in counseling, I understand how to approach students based on their own personalities and cater my lessons to meet each individual's needs. I provide encouragement to struggling learners, patience as required and genuine supportive care to push the student to his or her highest potential in a fun, non-stressful way.
