Hello! Welcome to this fun and interactive pre-k class! In this small group lesson, learners will play shape memory. At the beginning of the class learners will do a quick meet and greet. Learners will be given clues of different shapes and will guess the shapes. Then learners will guided discuss how shapes look. Learners will learn terms such as "sides", "point", "angle", "round", and "flat". Next, learners will have fun creating shapes with their bodies. Learners will be guided to look for shapes around them at their home or the place they are taking the class. They may be guided to show the teacher the object! Learners will then play shape memory as a class by taking turns. Learners will identify if two shapes are a "match" or not. This is a class for students who already have a basic knowledge of shapes and their names.

The learning goals for this lesson are as follows:
- Learners will be able to practice shape recognition.
- Learners will become familiar with vocabulary words of the shapes.
- Learners will practice describing shapes independently.
- Learners will also identify numbers.
- Learns will find shapes in their environment.
