Skills each student will attain: -Knowledge of fabrics -Learning about textiles -How to read and use a pattern- Laying out the fabric, how much do you need -The basics of using a sewing machine -Sewing a zipper -Basic hand stitches Video tutorials will be presented to the student. Documents will be provided by the instructor. Reference and information for useful books will be provided. The student is to watch videos and we will meet live to discuss the process. New information will be presented before the student continues to the new lesson. This provides the student with information and one on one guidance. Before our one-on-one lesson, the student will work independently to achieve each goal and checkpoint. With completion of the course, the student will receive a digital certificate of completion that they can share with friends and family and be so very proud to display. ** Throughout the course, the student will have access to documents and video tutorials that they can download. The instructor kindly asks to not to share or redistribute these copyrighted materials to anyone who is not enrolled in the class. Many thanks!

Assistance may be required to access videos, attain and print out handouts, share photos etc. Each learner in the class will be using sharp objects, such as needles and scissors. Proper safety guidance and techniques will be shared by the educator.

The student should own a sewing machine. And check over "Material List" before our first one-on-one meeting.
