課堂經歷
Each week, your learner will be assigned a portion of reading and an assignment to complete. All assignments are optional and will not be graded. However, I will highly recommend submission for feedback and discussion. Each learner will read an average of three chapters per week. Some weeks require a little bit more or less, but this outlined in the syllabus.

碩士 在 特殊教育 從 Johns Hopkins University
Hey there! My name is Emily Kendall. My passion for education is to make it fun and purposeful for each student that I get the privilege to interact with!
I am currently a research fellow, earning my PhD in education at the University of Oklahoma. The specialty of my research is to arm students with skills and knowledge to transition from school and into adulthood - no matter what age, it is never too early or too late! I also serve as a military reservist, Lieutenant in the US Coast Guard.
I earned my associate degree in child psychology, then my bachelor of science in education from Liberty University, and then my master of science in special education from Johns Hopkins University.
I teach classes that are based on real-life experience and literature. If a student can connect a concept to an experience, then they are engaging in valuable learning!
For example, my one on one tutoring sessions typically involve the interest of a student (ex. cooking), and my lesson will be constructed around famous chefs/ bakers from history, utilizing math and science skills, even marketing, business, and finance, as these play a role in a career or hobby surrounding cooking.
Please message me with any specific concerns or requests for your child, and let's get started!
