This is an ongoing social studies class, geared toward the second grade learner. This course will follow the logical sequence of a 2nd grade social studies curriculum, however, students will work on a single topic each week making it easy to join or leave as caregivers see fit. Worksheets or activities will be given as a follow up to each class. Students are encouraged to complete the given material and turn it in to the teacher in order to receive feedback and assessment. Students should have a notebook dedicated to "Second Grade Social Studies" which is brought to each class. They should always come prepared with a sharpened pencil and eraser. Additional supplies will be discussed or suggested for classes where hands-on exploration may be appropriate.
