Join me for a fun, daily reading, spelling, and writing class using phonics to help your child progress

This class is the perfect fit for any child who knows basic reading skills but needs frequent practice.

TYPICAL CLASS ROUTINE:

👉Greeting/Get to know you time

👉Phonics review 

👉Story reading, fluency practice on Monday through Wednesday; spelling words using the sound of the week each Thursday and sentence/story writing every Friday

👉Closing/puppet time

POSSIBLE READING CONCEPTS:

👉Phonics sound introduction and discussion

👉Learning to read with fluency

👉Attention to punctuation and reading expression

👉Learning to hear sounds in words and use those sounds to spell words

👉Proper sentence structure, punctuation, spelling of sight words as well as words being learned through phonics

👉Building vocabulary and improving reading comprehension
