課堂經歷
Join us throughout the month of December as we tell a series of stories celebrating winter, working together, giving, and kindness. Like all Seasons of Joy Circle Times, we will by reciting a gathering poem, lighting a candle, and singing a hello song. Likewise, we will end with an end-of-circle time song. In between, we will spend time singing, moving and having conversations as we build community together. Class will be fully immersive and interactive, with very little technology outside of the Zoom platform itself. Ideas for optional crafts, recipes, etc will be posted to the classroom after class. The schedule will be as follows: Week 1: The Mitten (a traditionally Ukrainian folk tale) Week 2: The Elves and the Shoemaker (from The Brothers Grimm) Week 3 Star Money or The Falling Stars (also from The Brothers Grimm) Week 4: The Boy Who Went to the North Wind (a Norwegian folk tale)

Week One: Wear your favorite pair of mittens or gloves to class. Please also bring a piece of paper with a simple outline of a mitten drawn on it as well as some drawing materials. Week Two: Nothing needed. Week Three: Bring something shiny to show and share. Week Four: A scarf, play silk, lightweight baby blanket, or dish towel
