適合初學者的 Scratch 編碼

This is a multi-day camp. Learners will need to create an account on Scratch. Also, Scratch works best on a laptop. Learners will get familiar with coding concepts such as conditionals, algorithms, events, and variables. Students will learn to use block coding and the Scratch coding website. Students will also learn how to upload and create sprites and backgrounds. They will learn computational thinking such as problem-solving and perseverance. 
The class will be structured with a preview of the final project. Next, I will go step by step along with the learners to create the projects. Finally, students will have some independent time to remix or make the project individualized. Finally, students will have an opportunity to share the project with the class.

Week 1: Introduction to the code blocks 
Code an interactive collage with various sprites.

Week 2: Music and Art: Learners will learn more about the Scratch editor and add drawings and music to a project.

Week 3: Code a Story- Learners will code a story with 2 or more characters using backdrops for a setting.

Week 4: Character Builder- Learners will code a project where they can choose different looks or accessories for a character on Scratch.

Week 5: Final Project- Learners will use what they learned to create a presentation where they use a variety of code blocks and the Scratch editor.
