MIT's block based coding platform Scratch helps young learners develop a deep understanding of the logics and critical thinking for coding. In this class students will explore the platform in a gradual manner , with project on each day and slowly gain confidence. As they proceed through the projects they will learn to use various aspects of animation and game designing as well as extensions. We will use an online editor. Chromebooks may require advanced settings to permit the website - https://scratch.mit.edu/ to properly function. If you are using a Chromebook, please make sure that the site works before starting. Please use a laptop for coding since tablets will not support the games we create.
