Have you ever wanted to learn more about Scotland? Well now you can! Learn how to speak like a local with these great Scottish words, phrases, and their meanings. This on-going class will equip you with the patter (that’s ‘the chat!’) to make the most of your next visit to Scotland! The class will be structured by selecting a few Scottish words every week and discussing their meaning, and give examples of how you can use it in sentences. Students will also be taught how to properly pronounce the words. This class will be fun, interactive, and is suitable for anyone with an interest in Scotland! The first 4 weeks of this class are as follows: Week beginning 13-May - Scottish words for compliments Week beginning 20-May - Scottish words for every day objects Week beginning 27-May - Scottish words for insults Week beginning 03-Jun - Miscellaneous Scottish words
