According to the American Chemistry Society, "All students should learn the core ideas and concepts in chemistry. That way, they will develop an understanding of the material world around them while learning to question what’s happening in their surroundings."

Your children begin asking and wondering about the world arond them from the moment they open their eyes. Their exploration begins before they can walk or talk. This desire to learn continues throughout their life. Although Chemistry is taught around 7th or 8th grade, the basic/core concepts are learned long before them.
This class will explore those core concepts with some activities that your children may already be wondering about or have already used in their day to day life, building on their knowledge for the academic years ahead.

Each class will begin with a 5-10 minute mini lesson on the chemistry topic being explored. Then they will complete a project about that topic.

~ Students will not be admitted beyond 5 minutes after class starts. The lesson will be in session and I will not have the opportunity to check the waiting room to admit students who are late. It is up to both the student and the parent to make sure you arrive to class on time. Refunds for missed classes will not be issued However, all classes are recorded so the student may watch at a later date to make up the class. 

~~ ALL Students are REQUIRED to be on-screen during the entirety of the class. Students who refuse to keep their cameras on will be given a warning then placed in the waiting room once. If they continue to have their camera off they will be bumped from class and no refund given. This is for YOUR child's safety as well as my preference to be able to see and connect with each student. If you have completed the process for no video usage during class than I recommend that this class is not what you are looking for.
