I have taught and tutored math for about twenty years. I hold a current teaching certificate in K-8 elementary school, with a focus on math. I am halfway to my master's in secondary math. I really enjoy math - it is very relate-able to food and money!

Please contact the teacher if the learner has any questions about the work. 1) "Practice" - Learners should complete every problem. The "Practice" covers the material from the "Lesson". 2) "Problem Set" - Learners should complete every problem. Saxon scaffolds upon previous lessons, so completing all the problems is important. Progress will be evaluated during the lessons based on learner work. The teacher may contact the learner's guardians as needed. Guardians are welcome to contact the teacher as needed. Progress will be evaluated with the Saxon tests if requesting a grade. Assigned Saxon tests should be completed without assistance from parents or other people.
