Do you have a passion for nature and wildlife conservation? Are you inspired by some of the young people who aren't waiting to grow up to make a difference? If you have ever wanted to do more to protect nature and wildlife, but just didn't know how to get started, this is the class for you. My aim is to support and guide young people who are itching to DO something and who have an interest in creating and pursuing their unique projects to protect nature and endangered wildlife. I pursued a career in wildlife science and environmental communications after deciding at 8 years old that I wanted to 'save all the animals'. I know what it feels like to want to DO something from an early age! Kids have so many more options and ideas now and many are ready to make an impact. I have done everything from wildlife field research, to working in environmental education at World Wildlife Fund, the Smithsonian National Zoo and National Audubon Society. It is my hope that I can ignite your learner's interest in getting more involved in nature and wildlife conservation.
